News update on our Top Lake

Following an explosive period of weed growth on our Top Lake this summer and autumn, we now have pleasure in confirming all the weed has been mechanically removed and the lake is back to fishing well again.

As I am sure that you are aware, there is a serious lack of 3lb+ trout in the country at the moment following last year's harsh winter. Therefore until further notice we are having to change our policy to catch and release on the Top lake only. The lake now carries stock ranging from 2.5lb to double figure rainbows, and we will be only offering two types of ticket. A 1 fish ticket limited to 4 hours or a 2 fish ticket limited to 6 hours (once allocated number of fish have been caught you are welcome to remain fishing on the Top lake on a catch and release basis until the time limit on your ticket expires).

Any feedback you may have on this, is as always, welcomed.

The bottom lake continues to operate as normal and is currently fishing very well.
